Where does the Kutus Kutus Oil come from?
The word "Kutus" comes from the Balinese word meaning "eight". According to ancient philosophy, the number eight represents the balance of body, mind and soul. Kutus Kutus or "88".
Responsible for the creation and production of the Kutus Kutus Oil (Minyar Balur) is Mr. Bambang Pranoto, a man with a unique personality. After retiring from a high-ranking international position, he decided to live in Gianyar in Bali, an area known for its green rice fields and stunning black sand beaches, away from tourists, where he could devote more of his time to meditation. (This area later became the subject of the book and film Eat, Pray, Love).
However, one day, an unfortunate accident occurred. When Pranoto was looking for special Kangkung vegetable leaves needed for cooking in the rice fields, he fell into a gorge. This accident resulted in the paralysis of both of his legs, which made him focus even more on meditation. During his meditations, a vision of herbal oil arose. With the help of his friends, Pranoto started to collect various herbal plants and many other ingredients to produce oil.
Pranoto used the oil for his paralyzed limbs every day and through its regular use he recovered completely. He later shared this herbal oil with his friends who suffered from various diseases. After hearing the testimonies of his friends, whose health had improved after the use of the oil, he decided to share this wonderful gift with the world.
Kutus Kutus (Minyak Balur), also called “miracle oil” in Indonesia, activates a body energy called Qi and helps maintain the right balance, as well as physical and mental health. The term “Qi energy” comes from Oriental (Chinese) medicine. This energy refers to the life force or vital energy flowing in the energetic pathways of our body. Disruption or blockage of the Qi energy disrupts the balance and proper function of the organs, which can result in a weakened immune system and subsequent health problems or illnesses.
Qi energy improves metabolism, concentration, self-confidence, organ vitality, blood circulation, natural activation of enzymes, hormones and the immune system, generates beneficial heat for the body and even contributes to the improvement of mood and emotions. Thanks to full Qi energy, people are able to better manage stress and achieve their life goals.
The selection of 69 different herbs is based on two interesting philosophies:
- The philosophy of the "Five Parts of the Tree of Life", which means that all parts of the tree - roots, stems, leaves, flowers and fruits - must exist together in synergy.
- The philosophy of the "Two Natural Elements", i. e. water and fire. These 2 elements of the universe complete the production process of the Kutus Kutus Oil (Minyar Balur).
The biggest advantage of the Minyar Balur Oil is that through external treatment of the legs and spine you can stimulate blood circulation and the nervous system.
